The Team is one of only 16 Pro Cycling Teams in the unit US registered with the UCI. This partership will allow Kane Bikes to be tested at the highest level of the sport. The team will be using a variety of kane bikes during the season. Many of the team memebrs have opted for the ultralight K Team SL and the full carbon Nighthawk frame. 10/2/07 - Jack Kane custom racing bicycles would like to formally announce the sponsorship of cyclocross racer Michael Mueller. Michael is one of the top up and coming cyclocross racers in the world. In 2003 he won the Swiss National Championships and has continued to experience great success over the past few years. This marks Kane Bike’s first entry into the Cyclocross market. We are hoping that with Michael’s feedback we will be able to produce a production frame in late 2008. Michael will be racing in both the US and Europe this season and will be representing Switzerland at the 2008 UCI World Cyclocross championships in Treviso Italy in January. Michael started out this season with a bang taking 2^nd place to 7x time national champion Jonathan Page in the UCI C2 races in Michigan last weekend.

The crew of Jack Kane custom racing bicycles is pleased to announce the introduction of two different carbon fiber framesets for the 2008 model year. The carbon frames have been in the testing phase for over a year. Our sponsored riders have been using various versions of the frame since June of 2007. The first model is called the Battle Axe. The name is inspired by the frames unique ride-smoothing seat stays whose appearance evokes thoughts of medieval weaponry. This frame is certainly one of the smoothest riding frames we have had the pleasure of riding. Geometry stays true to our classic racing inspired ride like all Kane frames. The second frameset is called the Nighthawk. The nighthawk shaves a few grams from the battle axe and features more conventional lines throughout the frame. The ride favors those who place performance above all else. Both sprinters and climbers have praised the bike as one of the stiffest and lightest frames they have ever raced. The nighthawk is also available in a full size run from 48cm to 61cm. Both frames include a complimentary upgrade to our premiere custom paint option. The entire crew of Jack Kane Custom Racing Bicycles is pleased to announce a sponsorship with Team Natures Path for 2007. Team Nature's Path is based out of Richmond, VA and is one of the regions most successful racing clubs. The team will be riding the new K Team Carbon SL frame along with the full carbon nighthawk frame. Natures Path is a leading producer of organic grocery products. After many of months of testing we are pleased to bring you an all new TT frame. The K Team Krono II. The K team krono is a full aluminum frame designed to offer the maximum aero advantage to the rider. The frame features 78mm wing shaped tubing, an extended seat mast that is cut to size for the rider, and a rounded head tube that offers a minimal front profile. The frame is offerd in either TT or track specific geometry. The track frame is designed for track racing and has no bottle mounts, cable stops, or brake holes. The track frame is designed with a geometry that allows the bike to be used for either mass start events or the pursuit. The new frames are available starting Aug 1st. Please call for details.

This year the team is testing some new full carbon frames along with a couple variations of our new superlight 1e team frame weighing in at around 900 grams. At Kane Bikes racing is our passion. Members of the Manulife Financial Mens Cycling Team have been given a secret weapon heading into next month's national championships in Seven Springs, PA. Key team members, including 2006 Collegiate National Road Race Champion Mark Hardman, will be riding late stage prototype versions of the new full carbon frame that will go on sale in September. The new frame has been in development for over a year. Look for more details and a full write up in next few days.  

Jack Kane Racing Bicycles announced the sponsorship of the Cheerwine Pro Women's Team for the 2006 season. We are pleased to be partnering with the team to provide them with both road and time trial bicycles. The 11 women team will be competing in the National Racing Calendar as well as the Women's Prestige Series races. The partnership will provide critical product feedback from the female perspective.
